Shane Drolet, EVP and CEO

Shane Drolet serves currently as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, and has worked full time in the family business since 1991. He acquired extensive experience in a variety of distribution and production positions with the company during that time, including Route Manager, District Manager, Production Manager, and most recently served for 4 years as Plant Manager.  He became the EVP in 2007, and added CEO to his resume in 2011.

Chris DeSaulnier, VP and COO

Chris joined General Linen in 2011 as Plant Manager, was subsequently promoted to General Manager in 2012, and currently serves as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.  He brings a wealth of management experience with him to the company, including over 17 years in the automotive manufacturing field in a variety of roles, most recently as General Manager & Director of International Manufacturing.  In his current role as VP and COO, Chris works directly with the department managers to achieve company goals and maximize customer satisfaction and retention.

Ed Boucher, Branch Manager Manchester

Ed has been employed with General Linen Service for over 25 years, starting as a Route Manager, then a District Manager, and currently serves as Branch Manager in the Manchester office. Ed has worked with the company through 3 acquisitions, proudly maintaining the customer base and improving the quality of service. He has worked with and helped develop many of our current Route Managers through training and mentoring opportunities and is also a member of the safety committee, providing employees with new tools and tips to work in a safe environment. Ed prides himself on providing our customers with the best products and service possible. He is looking forward to building and maintaining strong relationships with all employees in the Manchester office and his new customers in the Southern NH and Massachusetts regions.

Peter Godfrey, Branch Manager Westbrook

Peter Godfrey came to GLS with over 20 years of customer service background. He joined us in 2008 in our Westbrook, ME depot starting as a District Manager, and was promoted to Branch Manager in August of 2010. Peter has worked hard to develop a seasoned group of Route Managers who provide not only great customer service to our more than 500 customers in Maine, but who also provide value in terms of monitoring inventories and answering any questions our customers may have. He is constantly striving to build and maintain strong relations with all of his customers and is looking to expand our market share further in Maine.

Sean Doyle, Branch Manager Smithfield

Sean Doyle comes to General Linen with over 10 years in the Service Industry. Sean worked his way through the ranks and has been a Route Sales Manager, Sales Representative, District Manager and most recently a Business Development Manager. Sean is assertive, self-motivated and energetic. He is customer focused and is not happy until the customer is happy. Sean is married and has 3 children. He is an avid tennis player and enjoys participating in Road Races and Triathlons including the Lake Placid Ironman which is considered a great personal accomplishment and testament to determination, drive and ability to accomplish an established goal.

Steve Marcq, Director of Business Development

Steve Marcq has worked for General Linen Service for over 20 years, starting as production manager and learning the business from the ground up. Steve then became a district Service Manager in the Manchester service center, and played a key role in more than doubling the customer base over the next 6 years, and eventually was promoted to Service Manager and then Sales Manager for the company. Steve is currently the Director of Business Development, and works closely with the sales team to secure new strategic and corporate multi-site account business, as well as serving as the corporate POC (point of contact) for many existing accounts.

John Carnevale, Regional Sales Manager

John was hired as Sales Manager in December 2011. Since that time the sales team has responded with double digit growth. John started in the Industry 13 years ago as a Service Driver for Cintas. John quickly moved up the ranks to become the top Service Driver in the region. John was promoted to Sales Representative in January of 2001. After earning three President’s Clubs awards as a sales rep John was promoted to Sales Manager. As Sales Manager John earned two more President’s Clubs while twice being named “Sales Manager of the Year”. In 2008 John accepted a Sales Manager Position at the Unifirst Corporation. While at Unifirst John’s success continued, consistently being near the top of the sales manager rankings. John‘s motto has always been “If you’re not Growing…..You’re Dying” John has three children and is an avid poker player.

MaryJane Morgan, Corporate Training and Auditing Manager

“MJ” is a twenty six year veteran of the linen industry, and has served in various roles with General Linen including Branch Manager, Sales Manager, and District Manager.  As Corporate Trainer, MJ thoroughly enjoys the challenges of successfully onboarding new employees in sales, service, administration and production positions throughout the company. MJ takes pride in her “hands on” approach to employee training and development, and works closely with the management team to develop, design, administer and audit the training program for new hires.   MJ brings a passion to serve to her position, mentoring both new hires and established managers, always with an emphasis on “good old fashioned customer service” training and a strong focused attention on exceeding the customer’s needs.  Other interests include mentoring, volunteering in the local homeless shelter, short term missions trips and outdoor sports such as bicycling, fishing and kayaking. MJ continues to reside in the greater Seacoast area with her husband of 21 years and two Jack Russell terriers, “Yoda and JJ”.
