Volunteers help prepare Christmas packages
VOLUNTEERS HELPED prepare Christmas packages to go out to families on Tuesday.
Laconia — Catholic Charities New Hampshire received support preparing Christmas gifts on Tuesday, from General Linen and the Alternate School Program of the Laconia High School.
For the fourth year in a row, General Linen transported toys given by Toys for Tots to the Parish Center at the Sacred Heart Church in Laconia, and the youth from the Alternate School Program unloaded the toys, sorted them and created Christmas bags for the families.
There were enough Christmas bags for over 50 families and more than 100 children, ranging from newborns to age 17.
“The Laconia Office is always amazed and grateful for the generosity of the community and how it works together to improve lives,” said Leonard Campbell, Outreach Coordinator in Laconia.
